What a COA can show
- Product and lot identification
- Reported analytical method and result
- Test date and document status
- Specified chemical characteristics included in that certificate
What a COA does not automatically prove
- Biological activity or suitability for a specific experiment
- Sterility, endotoxin status, or stability unless those tests are specifically documented
- Human or veterinary safety, efficacy, or therapeutic value
- Proper handling or storage after delivery
